A little background on Lancaster property:

Lancaster (actually a City) is the county town of Lancashire, and gives the county its name. Lancaster Castle stands on the site of a Roman Fort and is a Grade 1 listed building, which was used as a prison until March 2011. In the early 1900's, Ashton Memorial folly was built in the Edwardian Baroque style, and the building has been described as the "Taj Mahal of the North".
